Old Post Office Seafood and Grill

True to its name, the Old Post Office Seafood and Grill has been handsomely refurbished from its humble beginnings as Vacaville’s first permanent post office, built in 1937. Inside, you’ll discover frescos depicting Vacaville’s early years as a rich and productive farming and fruit orchard region. Notice the waitress station that was once the old Post Office safe.

Serving California/French fusion, you’ll find tasty appetizers like Homemade Duck Pate on Garlic Croutons with Baby Arugula, entrees that include Fresh Roast Rock Lobster Tail with Shrimp Risotto, and specialty desserts like Crème Brule and Baked Alaska. Saltato’s Italian Restaurant

For handcrafted Italian dishes made from gourmet pastas, step into Saltato’s Italian Restaurant where Chef Robert Cicornio has traced his roots of exceptional culinary art of old-world Italian cooking back to his grandfather Joseph Louis Cicornio, who opened the world famous Columbus Pastry Company in San Francisco back in 1935.

Dishes are prepared in an open kitchen in an Italian style called “Insaporito,” meaning each ingredient is added at just the right time and cooked until the flavors are properly infused. Creekside Bar and Grill

Overlooking the Ulatis Creek and Andrews Park, the Creekside Bar and Grill is a local favorite serving a variety of comfort foods. Choose from an extensive menu: Oven Roasted Turkey Dinner, Mom’s Homemade Meatloaf and Southern Fried Chicken, just to name a few.
